This is the kind of ribbon that stops people in their tracks because it really stands out. When you use a color that has a certain loudness to it (In this case it's Hot Red) with anything that's bright (bright green).... you'll have a show stopper.

The 1 inch velvet is my personal favorite because there are so many things you can decorate or liven up with a little velvet bow.
